Job summary

Sonepar in Kingman, AZ is seeking a Warehouse / Driver Associate to help ensure timely delivery of materials and excellent customer service. You will load, ship, and deliver products, perform pre-route inspections, and maintain accurate orders.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to learn hand-held scanners and basic operating systems. You will work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings or weekends depending on needs.

Responsibilities

A Warehouse / Driver Associate for QED is responsible for checking and loading material onto truck, delivering material to customers or branches in a timely professional manner, and forming positive customer relationships to ensure the correct material reaches the customer while maintaining the reputation of providing a reliable and accountable delivery service.

What You'll Do:

• Making deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and other locations
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety & vehicle readiness
• Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight limitation
• Shipping and receiving products
• Filling orders in support of delivery routes
• Maintain and improve warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Order filling, including wire cutting & pipe order filling
• Safe forklift/equipment usage
• Assisting with loading/offloading freight or delivery trucks
• Able to assist with helping customers and answering phone calls when necessary
• Other warehouse duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
• Ability to learn use of hand-held scanners and operating systems
• Good oral & written communication skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs)
• Driving delivery vehicle.
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Warehouse Environment
• Usual 40 hour work-week Monday through Friday however based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance

Schedule:

Between the hours of 6:30am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday)
