Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Seasonal Package Handler in Commerce, CA. You will unload, sort, move, and load packages, often weighing up to 50 pounds, while working with a collaborative team. The role features weekly pay, flexible shifts, and potential for overtime during peak periods.

Season duration runs 10/27/2026 through 1/1/2027, with a $500 seasonal bonus. No prior warehouse experience is required as training is provided, and opportunities may extend beyond the season depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays.
• Able to meet pre-employment requirements including a background check where permitted by law.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and maneuver packages as described; stand, walk, bend and perform repetitive tasks.
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures and overtime when needed.
• No previous warehouse experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Work in hot or cold environments with limited temperature control.
• Keep workspace organized and ready for action.
• Help packages reach their destination safely and on time.

Pay: $18.50

This role is eligible for overtime pay consistent with applicable law.

Shift: (3 Options Available) 1:30pm - 5:30pm

• Tuesday - Saturday
• Sunday - Thursday
• Friday - Monday

Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” is defined as the completion of all required sort work for the day and clean-up activities, as directed by site management.

Season Duration*: 10/27/2026 - 1/1/2027

THE JOB: YOUR PAID WORKOUT

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently throughout your shift
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds

What You’ll Need

• Be at least 18 years old

• Ability to perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Repeatedly lift packages as described above
• Stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• No previous warehouse experience required. We’ll provide the training you need to succeed.
