Job summary

ARxIUM is seeking a Warehouse Associate on a 6-month contract in Buffalo Grove, IL. You will support daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.

This role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of warehouse experience, basic computer and data-entry skills, and the ability to operate standard warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Basic computer skills and data entry.
• Ability to read product descriptions, labels, and inventory documentation.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, picker machines) is preferred.
• Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems is an asset.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments against receiving docs.
• Report discrepancies, damage, and enter receipts into ERP.
• Put away inventory in designated locations.
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately.
• Deliver materials for manufacturing assembly.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support inventory control and physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace.
• Follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with order pulls and other warehouse duties as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and overtime when required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, kneel, and lift materials.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
