Job summary

Traditional Medicinals, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 3rd shift (11pm - 7:30am) in Rocky Mount, VA. You will coordinate inbound freight, outbound loads, and material transfers between TM facilities and cold storage, ensuring smooth information flow and accurate paperwork.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, processing docs, and performing cycle counts, while maintaining SOPs and collaborating across departments. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of related shipping/receiving experience.
  • High school diploma.
  • Must lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication & writing skills; bi-lingual Spanish a plus.
  • Detail oriented and accurate with numbers.
  • Team player in a fast-changing work environment.
  • Computer literate; MS Office and MRP systems such as Microsoft AX.
  • Forklift operations expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and suppliers.
  • Track shipments and provide data for planning and reporting.
  • Process distribution order requests and shipping documents.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to maintain on-hand materials.
  • Load outbound material for 3PL warehouses/Co-Manufacturers.
  • Perform inbound/outbound truck inspections as part of Redzone.
  • Maintain department SOPs and paperwork flow.
  • Support material handlers and assist with staging.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate on 3rd Shift (11pm - 7:30am) coordinateslogisticsfor all inbound freight, as well as finished goods relatedtooutbound loads. Coordinates all material transfers between TM facilities and Cold Storage. Works cross departmentally, affecting efficient material and information flow. Maintains departmentSOP’s.Helps to ensuretimelyreturn process and efficient paperwork flow. Coordinates all carrier and customer freight claims for freight damage and loss,acquiringmaterial compensation and disposition. Followsthrough withmaterial dispositions and helps to ensuretimelyclaim process and paperwork flow. Provides support for those employees andback-upwhen needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Work with carriers and suppliersschedulingdelivery appointments.
  • Track shipments.
  • Obtain and provide detailed data for use within TM as well as with outside suppliers,customersand carriers.
  • Perform inbound and outbound truck inspections in Redzone.
  • Obtain and use open order reports to help inplanning forthe process flow and proper storage of inbound materials.
  • Work with copackers to receive process,maintainand store materials not owned by TM.
  • Receive,initiateand processdistributionorder requests.
  • Obtain and/or generate official shipping documents.
  • Work crossdepartmentallyatmaintainingproper on hand material levels also workson a daily basiswith purchasing,planningand inventory control to ensure work orders can be runin a timely manner.
  • Utilize internet,intranetand basic software programs, including but not limited to: Word, Microsoft AX, Outlook, Excel, and to track,retain,organizeand share important data and information.
  • Keepwarehouseorganized and materials flowing.
  • Work with department supervisors focusing on daily operations and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible formonitoringempty pallets on hand used for finished goods produced in IMA, Order as needed.
  • Weekly/Monthly cycle counts of material in the warehouse: overwraps, folding cartons,eachies, andgeneric inventory items.
  • Coordinates with purchasing on inbounds and gives final approval for date/time of delivery.
  • Assistmaterial handlers withstaging ofoutbound materials.
  • Load trucks with outbound material destined for 3PL warehouses/ Co-Manufacturers.
REQUIREMENTS

Experience/Education:

  • Three or more years of related shipping/receiving experience
  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge/Abilities/ Skills
  • Must be able tolift upto 50lbsto waist level
  • High school diploma
  • Excellent communication & writing skills (Bi-lingual Spanish a plus)
  • Must be detailed oriented andaccurate with numbers
  • Must be a team player and adaptable to a fast changing work environment
Technical Skills:
  • Must be computer literate in software such as Microsoft Office and MRP systems such as Microsoft AX
  • Expert in variousfork liftoperations
Travel Requirements (if any)
  • Extensive travel to the corporate office in California may be required in the first few months for training purposes
Office Hours/Location:
  • This position is based in Rocky Mount, VA and is onsite Monday through Friday supporting a three-shift operation.
  • Remote candidates will not be considered for this role.
Physical/Mental Requirements
  • Ability tolift upto 50 lbs. throughout the day
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk two or more hours at a time.
  • Ability to follow diagrams and instructions correctly
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00
Shift Differential - 15% for hours worked on shift
