Job summary

Schylling is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift at our Lakewood, WA facility to support growing operations. You will unload containers, receive and sort inventory, and pick/pack orders for shipment using scanners and paper pick tickets.

Light value-added tasks such as labeling, boxing, and assembly may be required to meet fulfillment needs. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of related experience, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment while

Qualifications

• 1+ year of work experience in a related field.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and push utility carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear up to 60 pounds.
• Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable).
• Consent to a background check
• US work authorization required
• High school diploma/GED required

Responsibilities

• Keep safety a priority.

• Read bar codes with scanners and pull customer orders.
• Perform value-added services such as unboxing/boxing, labeling, stickering, and packaging.
• Maintain accuracy in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Monitor product quality and report safety issues.
• Follow safe practices to handle products up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain cleanliness in the assigned area.
• Attend to other duties to help fulfill our mission.

Our warehouse operations in Lakewood, WA, and we are currently looking for experienced Warehouse Associate, 2nd Shift as our operations continue to grow. The most suitable individual will be able to complete the following:

Responsibilities

• Keep safety a priority
• Unload containers, receive, sort, and put away inventory
• Pulls, packs and ship products based on daily orders
• Has the ability to use scanners to read bar codes on products and/or pull customer orders with paper pick tickets
• Perform value-added services activities included, but not limited to, unboxing/boxing, labeling, stickering, packaging, assembly of products to meet fulfillment requirements
• Work in high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining order accuracy
• Monitors product quality and reports any problems to eliminate safety issues
• Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and troubleshoot problems
• Use safe practices and methods to handle products heavier than 50 pounds
• Maintain cleanliness in the assigned area
• And any other duties needed to help fulfill our mission

Qualifications

• Ability to work first shift, Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
• 1 + year of work experience in a related field
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Lift up to 49 pounds and push utility carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear up to 60 pounds
• Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards
• Must be able to report to work as assigned.
• Work on a team that supports each other to reach our customer/company goals
• Can stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, climb stairs, and reach frequently during shifts
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• US work authorization required
• High school diploma/GED required
• Consent to a background check
