Lutron Electronics Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Austin, TX site. The role supports shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations with opportunities to operate equipment and rotate through departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment.
• 1 year shipping or receiving experience (preferred).
• Desire to learn additional warehouse equipment.
• Flexibility to work 1st shift (9:30am-6:00pm) and overtime as needed.
• Have a valid Driver's License.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to move to surrounding workstations and to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Become certified to operate Powered Industrial Equipment (such as electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and forklifts, etc.)
• Utilize RF technology to perform distribution functions such as picking, packing and shipping orders, receiving, put away and stock replenishment
• Deliver material to production lines in a timely manner
• Learn and use our inventory management system and enter materials transactions
• Work with our supply chain and distribution teams to process customer orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
