ZIEHL-ABEGG is seeking a high-energy Warehouse Associate for the 1st shift in Winston-Salem, NC. You will load and unload shipments, stock and pick orders, and prepare items for dispatch while ensuring accuracy and safety on the floor.

Qualifications

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for ensuring prompt delivery & handling of customer products in accordance with ZIEHL-ABEGG mission statement.

Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Load & unload trucks and containers
• Stock & pull orders with accuracy and speed
• Prepare orders for shipment
• Maintain shipping and receiving equipment
• Submit orders with weights and dimensions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Operate a forklift & pallet jack
• Occasional assistance in packaging area
• Stage orders in an organized fashion
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Operating a forklift
• Work experience in warehousing
• Experience with inventory management software (beneficial)
• Time management, communication skills, familiar with metric system, working with hand tools
• Ability to stand on concrete for an entire 8 hour shift
• Walking on the manufacturing floor
• Ability to pick up and move products
• Heavy lifting (50 lbs. to 70 lbs.)
• Ability to reach, bend, handle, lift, walk and stand
