Job summary

Ziehl-Abegg, a leader in the fan and motor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Shipping Administrator to support all supply chain procedures. You will coordinate shipments, prepare shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with international trade and ISO requirements while working with internal teams and external partners.

The role involves handling freight for sea and air shipments, maintaining shipping lists, and assisting with invoice audits.

Qualifications

• Ability to assess and resolve shipment-related issues quickly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates items for shipment with Warehouse team.
• Process shipments according to International Trade Compliance requirements.
• Prepare all shipping documentation per company and country requirements.
• Ensure shipments are accurate and meet delivery schedules with internal/external parties.
• File shipping documents according to company retention policy.
• Address inquiries related to shipment issues and document discrepancies.
• Coordinate full order cycle from order to delivery.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
• Review A/P invoice vouchers for accuracy and process vouchers; investigate discrepancies.
• Create and maintain daily/weekly shipping lists.
• Coordinate all facets of incoming/outgoing sea & air freight.
• Complete stock receipts for Canada and US warehouses as backup for warehousing personnel.
• Create delivery notes, Bills of Lading, and shipping documents.
• Invoice freight charges to customers.
• Assist outbound team with freight auditing.
• All other duties as assigned.

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Shipping Administrator who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The Shipping Administrator will be responsible for supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation.

Shipping Administrator

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Coordinates items for shipment with Warehouse team.
• Process shipments according to International Trade Compliance requirements.
• Preparation of all shipping documentation according to company and country requirements.
• Ensures all shipments are accurate and delivery schedules are met by working closely with internal and external parties.
• Ensures filing of shipping documentations according to company document retention policy
• Deals with inquiries relating to shipment issues and documents discrepancies.
• Coordinates full order cycle.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
• Review A/P invoice vouchers for accuracy and process vouchers. Investigate and report discrepancies.

• Assist Warehouse Outbound Team with outbound freight auditing.
• All other duties as assigned.
