Job summary

ZIEHL-ABEGG SE in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Material Handler to support production by moving materials and delivering to lines according to schedule. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment, ensuring quantities and part numbers match pick lists while keeping in-process inventory accurate.

You will collaborate with production groups, perform pre-use inspections on equipment, and maintain a tidy, safe workspace.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Warehousing work experience.
  • Experience with inventory management software preferred.
  • OSHA compliant.
  • Willingness to train on turrets and other machinery.
  • Strong time management and communication skills; familiar with the metric system and hand tools.

Responsibilities

  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials to production lines.
  • Collects and delivers material to production in accordance with production schedule.
  • Ensure quantity and part numbers align with pick lists.
  • Maintain in-process inventory counts to ensure continuous accuracy.
  • Deliver production materials where needed with accuracy and speed.
  • Document materials, record units delivered and location of units.
  • Partner with production for seamless processes.
  • Maintain material-Handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a Material Handler who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The Material Handler be responsible for collecting and delivering material to production in accordance with production schedule.

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials to production lines.
