Ryder is immediately hiring Temp to Hire Warehouse Associate in Whitestown, Indiana.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:

• Hourly Pay: $18.24 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $27.36 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift 6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, OT as Needed

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months of related warehouse experience required
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) including maintenance basics
• Powered industrial truck certification required
• Ability to read and do basic math in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to input data into WMS systems
• Work overtime as assigned
• Ability to build professional relationships at all organizational levels
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Operate in a fast-paced environment with flexibility
• Multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and follow-up skills

Responsibilities

• Package, kit, and assemble orders and materials
• Load and unload trailers, ensuring accuracy in scanning; train dock employees on procedures; maintain security and housekeeping; perform picking and packing; check for damage
• Handle materials according to policies and procedures
• Perform material moves with physical and logical transactions
• Participate in team activities for improvement
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas
• Perform other duties as assigned
