Job summary

Mid-Am Building Supply is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for the 1st shift in Centralia, MO. You will load and unload trucks, receive and store materials, pick orders, and operate forklifts, all while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, shipping documents, and order paperwork.
• Willingness and ability to complete forklift training and pass the operator evaluation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, order picking, or forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, including company, customer, and supplier vehicles.
• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Verify incoming shipments against receiving documents and report discrepancies.
