Job summary

Mid-Am Building Supply is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for the Centralia, MO location. This 1st shift role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch and a quarterly safety bonus.

You will load/unload trucks, receive and stock materials, pick customer orders, and use forklifts while maintaining safety standards. Candidates should be 18+, with a HS diploma or GED, and be willing to complete forklift training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, shipping documents, and order paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment.
• Willingness and ability to complete company forklift training and pass the required operator evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, including company, customer, and supplier vehicles.
• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Verify incoming shipments against receiving documents and report discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet daily operational goals.
