Job summary

Mid-Am Building Supply is hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift in Centralia, IL. You will help load/unload trucks, receive and put away materials, pick orders, and safely operate forklifts to keep warehouse operations efficient.

The role offers $22.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 3:00 PM, plus a quarterly safety bonus up to $100. Benefits include health coverage after 60 days, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Willingness to complete forklift training and pass evaluation.
• Dependability, a positive attitude, and safety mindset.
• Previous warehouse or forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
• Pick, pull, and prepare customer orders.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Verify incoming shipments against documents and report discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily goals.
