Job summary

Mid-Am Building Supply is seeking a warehouse associate to load outbound trucks, unload inbound merchandise, and stock materials. You will operate a forklift, assist in inventory and order fulfillment, and keep the facility clean and safe.

The role requires reading and writing skills, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work in a team. We offer benefits after 60 days and a competitive total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write so that written instructions and shipping papers can be easily followed
• Analytical thinking to solve problems
• Must be able to pass forklift operators test after training
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Unload materials from customers’ and suppliers’ trucks
• Put away inbound materials
• Pull customers’ orders from inventory on hand
• Load outbound materials onto company and customer vehicles
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials
• Sweep and clean warehouse and pick up trash
• Observe all safety rules and procedures
• Assist in counting inventory
• Check in merchandise from receiving documentation
