Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Texas. You will load/unload materials, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and support inventory and customer orders while upholding safety and accuracy.

We require 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane certification. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a nationwide manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required; combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Assist co-workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.

Job Description

Base pay rate is $15.75 per hour

Shift: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Monday - Friday

This position sits within our Fortify Building Solutions business, which serves the pre‑engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Associates perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day‑to‑day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.
