Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift (7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday) to support operations by loading and unloading materials and operating a forklift and light manufacturing tools. You'll inspect items, assist with inventory management and ERP updates, keep the work area clean, and help move inventory between stations while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products to support operations at the branch location.
• Operate a forklift, light manufacturing equipment, and construction tools.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $16.25 per hour

1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Monday - Friday (with potential overtime)

Duties and Responsibilities

Warehouse Associates are responsible for loading and unloading materials and products to support operations at the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, light manufacturing equipment, and construction tools.
