Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Mount Pleasant, IA is hiring a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift. The role involves loading/unloading, operating a forklift, and supporting branch operations to ensure safe, accurate and timely processing of orders.

You will inspect materials and equipment, assist with inventory in the ERP system, keep the work area clean, and follow all safety rules. HS diploma or GED and forklift certification are required; full-time benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane

Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately and on time.
• Assist co-workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use PPE.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $18.06 per hour

1st Shift: 5:00AM - 1:30PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Associates are responsible for loading and unloading materials and products to support operations at the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, light manufacturing equipment, and construction tools.
