Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Kilgore, TX. You will load and unload materials, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and assist with inventory management to support the branch.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 50 lbs., and obtain forklift/overhead crane certification. Prior warehouse experience is preferred. The role offers full-time hours with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely complete work assignments and customer orders; assist coworkers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with daily ERP inventory updates and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment; move inventory between workstations.
• Follow safety rules and use required PPE; perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Job Description

Base pay rate is $15.75 - $17.75 per hour

Shift Hours: 7:30AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday (with potential overtime)

Warehouse Associates perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch/warehouse location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co‑workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience – Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting Capacity – Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Mobility – Prolonged periods of time on feet, standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, etc.
• Exposure – Moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non‑climate‑controlled environment.
