Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a dedicated Material Handler at our Anthony, TX location to support daily shipping and receiving, loading and unloading, and inventory accuracy. You will operate a forklift and assist with crane operations while ensuring safe, damage-free order fulfillment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and certification to operate forklift and overhead crane. Day shift, competitive benefits from day 1.

Responsibilities

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $15.75 per hour

Day Shift: 6:00AM - 5:00PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
