Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is hiring for a manufacturing/warehouse role in Rome, NY. The position operates 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with potential overtime, and pays $19.50 per hour.

The role supports Fortify Building Solutions by packaging, labeling, and quality inspecting finished goods in a fast-paced facility. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work safely around equipment, and use basic measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high‑speed environment and follow safety practices.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse environment picking and pulling material is preferred.
• Experience with forklifts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package and label material for loading and distribution.
• Perform quality control on finished products.
• Use hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, screw guns.
• Use measuring gauges and tape measures.
• Communicate with team members to maintain production quality and minimize waste.

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

This position sits within our Fortify Building Solutions business, which serves the pre-engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packaging and labeling material for loading and distribution
• Responsible for quality control of finished products
• Working with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, screw guns
• Using measuring gauges and tape measures
• Communicate with team members to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
• Housekeeping and sanitation

Qualifications

• Physical Stamina and Strength
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a perfered
• Experiance in a warehouse environment picking and pulling material perfered
• Experience with Forklifts perfered
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
