Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Tolleson, AZ, is hiring for a 2nd shift manufacturing position. Base pay is $18.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, with shift 2:30 pm–11:00 pm. Duties include packaging, stacking material, assisting machine operators, and using basic powered hand tools.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a hot environment; forklift/overhead crane training is provided. Full-time employees receive medical, dental and vision benefits on day one, plus PTO,

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $18.00 per hour

Shift differential: $1.00 per hour

2nd Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packaging
• Stacking material
• Assisting machine operators
• Handlebasic powered hand tools
• Work safely and effectively to meet deadlines
• Work safely and collaboratively within a team environment

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment
• Company provides in house training and certification of forklift/overhead crane
• General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
• Able to work in a hot environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
