Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Aledo, TX is hiring a Warehouse Associate. The role involves loading and unloading materials, operating a forklift and overhead crane, and supporting inventory management and safety checks.

Base pay is $17.00 per hour with a 7:30AM–5:00PM, Monday–Friday schedule. Cornerstone offers medical, dental and vision benefits from day 1, plus PTO, 401k, tuition reimbursement, training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products using forklift and crane.
• Complete orders safely, accurately, and timely.
• Inspect materials, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with daily ERP inventory updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Move inventory within and between workstations.
• Follow safety requirements and use PPE.

Base pay rate is $17.00 per hour

Schedule: 7:30AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damageAssist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
