Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a full-time team member to load/unload materials, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and assist with inventory and order fulfillment at the Bastrop, TX site. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to obtain forklift/crane certification, and capability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $17.75 per hour

Shift:7:30AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
