Job summary

Richards Building Supply in Westfield, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Westfield location. 1st Shift 7 AM to 4 PM, with overtime opportunities. Exterior building material knowledge is preferred.

You will unload/loading trucks, receive merchandise, move items to storage areas, and uphold safety policies. A high school diploma or GED is required, with forklift experience preferred. Excellent communication and a team-first attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to continually lift 50–100 lbs; some items over 100 lbs.
• Load trucks with material daily, securing weight per DOT regulations.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials from receiving to designated areas.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Stand, bend, and twist through entire shift.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, vendors, and customers.
• Adhere to all safety policies and wear required PPE.

Our Warehouse team members are responsible for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

Richards Building Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Westfield, IN location.

1st Shift "core" hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, eligible for Over Time

Exterior Building Material knowledge preferred

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
• Clean driving record is a MUST
• High School degree or GED.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, through complete shift.
• Forklift experience desired.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written)
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment.
• Work Monday through Friday and opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
