Job summary

Richards Building Supply in Westfield, IN is hiring a Warehouse Associate to receive materials, unload trucks, and process inventory. This role is based on the first shift (7 AM to 4 PM) with eligible overtime and a focus on exterior building materials.

Candidates should be able to lift 50–100 lbs, have a high school diploma, and stand, bend, and twist through the shift. Forklift experience is a plus; competitive hourly rate with strong OT potential is offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, twist through complete shift.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written).
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety gear.
• Work Monday through Friday with overtime during busy season.

Responsibilities

• Receiving materials in the warehouse and unloading trucks.
• Load trucks with material scheduled for deliveries while following DOT weight limits.
• Move materials to designated areas and process inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate with team and vendors to ensure accurate deliveries.

Our Warehouse team members are responsible for receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

Richards Building Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Westfield, IN location.

1st Shift \"core\" hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, eligible for Over Time

Exterior Building Material knowledge preferred

Requirements:

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.


• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.


• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at warehouse.


• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.


• Clean driving record is a MUST

Qualifications:

• High School degree or GED.


• Ability to stand, bend, twist, through complete shift.


• Forklift experience desired.


• Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and customers (verbal and written)


• Positive attitude and team player.


• Adhering to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment.


• Work Monday through Friday and opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
