Job summary

Richards Building Supply is seeking a CDL Class B Driver for our Michigan City, IN location. You will safely deliver products to job sites, unload materials per customer requests, and receive merchandise in the warehouse while loading trucks and processing inventory.

The role offers overtime on Saturdays when needed, paid time off, a 401(k) with company match, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A license.
• 1 year CDL B driving experience or 2 years CDL A driving experience.
• Flatbed with moffett/boom truck experience desired, but will train.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Heavy lifting experience.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering products to job sites.
• Physically unloading material per customer requests.
• Receiving materials in the warehouse and loading trucks.
• Processing inventory and distributing stock.
