Job summary

POOLCORP in Washington, DC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the team by accurately receiving, pulling, packing orders, and preparing them for delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes loading trucks, logging shipments, maintaining inventory, operating a forklift (certification required), and upholding safety. Hours are Monday–Friday 7AM–4PM with rotating Saturdays 8AM–12PM in summer; pay is $17–$22 per hour with up to $2,500 in performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100 pounds.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Location: Washington, DC (19) and 23700 Pebble Run Drive, Suite 125, Sterling, VA (20166).

Pay: $17–$22 per hour with up to $2,500 through performance bonuses.

Overview

The Warehouse Associate supports the team and customers by accurately and safely receiving, pulling, and packing orders in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assist in loading the delivery truck.
• Receive shipments, log items into inventory, and maintain inventory through audits.
• Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries or pickups.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18years of age.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100pounds.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor, or warehousing preferred.
