Job summary

POOLCORP is a leading distributor of outdoor living products with a large network of centers. The Warehouse Associate assists the team by accurately receiving, pulling, packing, and staging orders for delivery or pickup at the Lees Summit location.

Responsibilities include loading shipments, inventory checks, and coordinating with staff to ensure timely deliveries. Forklift use is required and safety certifications must be maintained; additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor, or warehousing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs, and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs inventory, and maintains inventory through audits.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, colleagues, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-ups.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks, reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Pay: $19 - $22 / hour and up to $2,500 through performance bonuses.

Work Hours

Monday - Friday plus rotating Saturday shifts during the summer season.
