Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and versatile Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations and material handling. The role requires adaptability, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and support for both warehouse and delivery tasks. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Warehouse Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring safe handling of products.
- Organize and store products for easy access and inventory management.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following safety protocols.
- Organize and label inventory for efficient stock management.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or general labor preferred.
- Valid driver’s license (Class B or higher preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 pounds).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability.
- Ability to work independently and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and delivery tracking.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. Ability to sit and drive for extended periods when acting as a backup truck driver.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade School or vocational diploma preferred.
