Job summary

Lansing Building Products is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. You will greet customers, pick tickets, load and unload trucks, and help move products through our system using TWL.

You will verify orders, maintain a clean warehouse, and work with the team to meet challenging deadlines. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move building materials weighing up to 70+ lbs.
• Experience with a forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload customer and company trucks.
• Utilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products in TWL.
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly and support team needs.
• Work Monday through Friday with start around 7:00 AM and end around 4:30 PM.

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
• High integrity and high energy
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
