Job summary

Lansing Building Products in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in our warehouse. You will greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks while using handheld RF scanners to move and track products through TWL. The role requires physical work and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities include verifying order accuracy, lifting up to 70 pounds, keeping the warehouse clean, and collaborating with teammates to meet deadlines. CDL is not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or material handling environment.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds safely.
• Ability to follow directions and work under deadlines.
• Experience with TWL or similar warehouse management systems is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
• High integrity and high energy
• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location).
