Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Barnstable, MA. A typical day starts around 7:00 AM, sometimes earlier, and ends about 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday with little to no weekend work; hours may vary by location.

You will greet customers, pick tickets, load and unload trucks, and use handheld RF scanners to move and track products in our TWL system. Lifting up to 70 pounds and teamwork are essential, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred).
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers.
• Lift and move building materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Experience with a forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)

• Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
• Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location).
