Job summary

Lansing Building Products in Orlando, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations. You will greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks, using RF scanners and the TWL warehouse system.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a strong work ethic, and the physical ability to lift 70+ lbs. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and forklift experience is a plus. This is a hands-on position with consistent daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred).
• High integrity and high energy.
• Experience in building products and warehouse operations is strongly desired.
• Ability to work in a team and/or with customers.
• Lift and move building materials weighing up to 70+ lbs.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Work well under deadlines and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks.
• Use handheld RF scanners to move and track products in TWL WMS.
• Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments received.
• Lift and move boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Keep the warehouse clean and orderly.

• Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
• Experience with a forklift is a plus
• Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business

A Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
