Freight Handlers in Punta Gorda, Florida, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist in unloading trailers and moving freight in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include handling freight between 25–80 lbs and operating forklifts as needed.

Pay and Benefits

• Salary: $18–$20 per hour, plus performance based.
• Weekly pay schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Unload trailers, break down and restack pallets, and move 25–80 lbs.
• Safely unload tractor‑trailers in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.
• Operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks (training provided).
• Handle freight weighing 25–80 lbs throughout the shift.
• Work in varied warehouse temperatures from 32°F to 90°F.

Work Conditions

• Lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat throughout the shift.
• Handle 25–80 lb cases; move 50–200+ pallets daily.
• Work in temperatures from 32°F to 90°F.
• Be able to hear and respond to speech, alarms, and safety alerts in moderate to loud environments.

What We’re Looking For

• Shifts: 1st (3:00AM) 5‑day workweek. Operations run 7 days per week, and schedules may include weekends.
• Warehouse experience preferred (order picking, forklift, etc.) but not required.
• Able to lift, walk, bend, and twist most of the workday.
• Strong communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Reliable and willing to work scheduled shifts.
