Job summary

The Habegger Corporation in Peoria, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our HVAC parts distribution team. You will receive, stock, label, and stage items, help with local deliveries, and keep inventory organized while ensuring accuracy and safety.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, a 7:30am–4:30pm shift, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, HSA/FSA options, disability and life insurance, plus profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C non-CDL driver’s license and a driving record meeting company insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift/move equipment per role’s physical demands.
• Ability to read order details and count inventory accurately.

Responsibilities

• Receive HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies; check shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack, label and stage customer orders and transfers between locations.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles using trained handling equipment.
• Make local deliveries and pickups to contractors/customers with courteous service.
• Maintain inventory organization and assist with cycle counts.

Hours

Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4:30pm (1hr lunch break)

Job Duties

• Receive HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies; check shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack, label and stage customer orders and transfers between locations.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, using material handling equipment as trained.
• Make local deliveries and pickups while providing courteous service to contractors and customers.
• Keep inventory organized, accurately record product movement, and assist with cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and delivery vehicle.
• Communicate shortages, damaged items, and delivery issues promptly.
• Delivery to customers on set days and times via 26' box truck (Some locations have pickup truck for smaller loads)

Requirements

• Valid Class C non-CDL driver's license (up to 26,000 GVWR) and a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• DOT MED CARD (Provided upon hire if not already acquired).
• Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle and follow applicable driving requirements.
• Warehouse, delivery, or HVAC parts experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read order details, count inventory accurately, and use a computer or handheld scanner/device.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies in accordance with the role's physical requirements, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• Forklift experience (Certification given upon onboarding).
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working with both warehouse teammates and customers.
