Job summary

Watsco, Inc. in Alexandria, LA is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Associate to manage inventory and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials for our wholesale distributorship.

You will procure, process, dispatch, and deliver products to customers and vendors, supporting a fast-paced, safety‑conscious team. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stocking, inspecting shipments, picking orders, maintaining truck and forklift checks, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable experience driving a company pickup truck.
• Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.

• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.

The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for the inventory of the Warehouseand daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. Duties and Responsibilities

• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to bemoved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customertraffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned.
