Job Purpose

The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of tasks efficiently, safely, and accurately to ensure customer service excellence.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Verify, receive, and put away incoming stock
• Pull, pack, stage, and ship outgoing orders and transfers
• Assist customers with orders, as needed
• Assist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock items
• Operate handheld scanners to receive, move, and track inventory in and out of the facility
• Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle count and physical inventory
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas to ensure an orderly and safe work environment
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs
• Participate in after-hours training classes
• May be asked to participate in on-call duties, as needed
• Work overtime as assigned
• Work cooperatively with others
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable attendance

Physical and Environmental Requirements

While performing duties, employees are required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, or smell. Must lift/move up to 60 pounds. Work environment may vary from cold (20°F) to hot (105°F). Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: 1 year forklift experience
• Preferred: 1 year warehouse experience
• Preferred: 1 year customer service experience
• Proficiency in computer and inventory systems is a plus
