Job summary

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to load/unload supplies from delivery trucks and check in weekly flower deliveries. The role includes stocking, cleaning, and driving when required. Flexibility for longer hours during holidays and weekends is requested.

Responsibilities include keeping the cooler clean, standing for long periods, and maintaining a safe, organized facility. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with bilingual ability a plus.

Job description

This position requires the loading or unloading of supplies from all delivery trucks. The warehouse person will also be involved with checking in of all flowers that are delivered every week and putting away of all supplies. The warehouse person needs to keep all areas of the facility clean and safe from any debris. The Warehouse person needs to be flexible and be willing to drive when needed.

• Good Communicational skill necessary

Requirements

• Candidate must be agile enough to work in our fast paced, ever changing environment
• Must have the ability to work in hot and cold temps for extended periods of time as well as work on one’s feet for long periods of time
• Able to lift up to 40lbs when necessary
• Candidate must always wear closed toe footwear and must be able to help in other departments if needed
• Candidate must be able to receive deliveries from vendors when needed.

The expected salary range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
