Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Shipping & Receiving - Warehouse Associate to support daily freight movement within a fast-paced warehouse in North Haven, CT.

The role involves unloading trucks, verifying shipments, and matching orders, with a focus on safety and reliability. 1st and 2nd shift options are available, with weekend work on some weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience with scanning and sorting items, unloading 18-wheelers, and assisting loading Sprinter vans.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and complete tasks accurately.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds and load/unload trucks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching orders.
• Read shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
• Ensure the warehouse remains accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic.
• Complete tasks in a safe manner by following all safety policies and procedures.

Our client, a logistics operations is seeking a Shipping & Receiving worker to join their team. As a Shipping & Receiving associate you will be part of the warehouse and distribution team supporting daily freight movement. The ideal candidate will have strong reliability, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving - Warehouse Associate

Pay Range

$18

• 1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm - 5 days a week (including weekends)
• 2nd Shift: 6:00pm to 12:30am - 5-6 days a week (you can choose)
