Job summary

Watsco in North Carolina is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in our HVAC distribution network. You will load and unload products, pick and verify orders, stock merchandise, and use warehouse equipment to ensure accurate, on-time shipments.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturdays. Prior forklift experience and a commitment to customer service are preferred, along with the ability to lift up

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products daily and stock inventory.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Verify items received against orders for accuracy.
• Pick and prepare customer orders for shipment as needed.
• Maintain daily truck and forklift maintenance checklist.
• Ensure safe, neat, and organized grounds and warehouse.
• Read orders and shipping documents to move, gather, or ship items.
• Provide excellent service to external customers.
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety requirements.

Job description

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.

Work Schedule Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday. This position may require working extra hours on occasion.
