Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Fortify Building Solutions team in the Robstown area. The role involves loading/unloading, operating a forklift, conducting basic inventory tasks, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Hours are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be willing to obtain forklift/crane certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products safely, accurately and timely.
• Operate forklift and light manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and daily ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Move inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with safety requirements and use PPE.

Base pay rate is $16.25 per hour

Shift: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Monday - Friday (with potential overtime)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position sits within our Fortify Building Solutions business, which serves the pre-engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry.

Warehouse Associates are responsible for loading and unloading materials and products to support operations at the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, light manufacturing equipment, and construction tools.

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
