Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies in Wisconsin seeks a hands-on Logistics/Operations assistant to support loading, unloading, and material handling while upholding safety standards. You will operate drills and saws, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate to improve delivery performance and cost efficiency.

• Experience with inventory accuracy and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks efficiently with proper material handling.
• Operate tools and machinery safely (drill presses, miter saws, and table saws).
• Support inventory accuracy and timely reporting within supply chain operations.
• Participate in cross-functional training to advance to higher operations roles.
• Collaborate with the team on safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.

Job Duties | Qualifications

• Logistics Support: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and organization of materials
• Machinery Operation: Operate a variety of tools and machinery, including but not limited to drill presses, miter saws, and table saws, in a safe and effective manner
• Inventory Management: Assist to help streamline inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting while gaining exposure to supply chain operations and material forecasting
• Career Advancement: Train cross functionally to take on new challenges and progress to higher operations roles
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate with team on performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost

• Physical Requirements: Regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 30 lbs. as part of daily operations, demonstrating strength and endurance in a fast-paced environment
