AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is seeking a hardworking team member to join our Production Team. You will be cross-trained across departments in our production plant, allowing you to float where needed and eventually join a permanent department aligned with your skills and the needs of our Operations team.

Leadership and growth opportunities are widely available. Responsibilities include operating machines, reading work orders, and collaborating on safety, quality, delivery, and cost

Qualifications

• Must read and understand work orders.
• Technical drawings and schematics are a plus.
• Proficient with standard hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate all machines or tools in the area (drill presses, miter saws, table saws).
• Read and execute sales orders to prepare raw material by cutting to precise width and length.
• Adhere to company standards and timelines per work orders.
• Collaborate with team on performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

• Read and execute sales order to prepare raw material by cutting to precise width and length.
• Adhere to company standards and timelines per work orders.
• Collaborate with team on performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily operations, demonstrating strength and endurance in a fast-paced environment.
