Job summary

AmeriLux Family of Companies is hiring for a hardworking, driven team member to join our distribution center. You will cross-train across departments to float where needed, with opportunities for leadership and growth.

Typical shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with overtime available. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and read packing slips and cut sheets to verify materials.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure, packing slip and cut sheet accurately.
• Demonstrate safety and efficiency while operating shop tools (sawing equipment).
• Able to work cross-functionally and support team goals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify material against packing slips and cut sheets.
• Operate chop saw, miter saws, and table saw safely and efficiently.
• Train across functions to take on new challenges and progress to higher operation roles.
• Collaborate with team on safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics.

We are looking for a hardworking, driven, team member to join our value adding Distribution center. You can expect to be cross-trained through the departments in our DC - giving you the ability to float where needed. Leadership and growth opportunities are widely available.

• Inspect and verify all material with the packing slip. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure, packing slip, and cut sheet.

• Operate a variety of tools and machinery, including but not limited to chop saw, miter saws, and table saws, in a safe and effective manner.

• Train cross functionally to take on new challenges and progress to higher operation roles.

• Collaborate with team on performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Shift

Monday - Friday 8-4pm Overtime opportunities are available

Requirements

• Regularly maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as part of daily operations, demonstrating strength and endurance in a fast-paced environment.
