Job summary

1-800-Flowers.com is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment operations in Memphis. You will receive, process, pick, pack, and ship daily orders, while organizing stock and building flower boxes for future orders.

The role requires basic math, inventory counting, and the ability to work in cold temperatures for long periods; forklift/pallet jack certification is preferred or obtainable. Expect extended hours during peak holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Forklift and electric pallet jack certified or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Receive/process incoming freight and prepare, pack, scan, and ship customer orders.
• Fulfill orders by picking and packing items for shipment.
• Manage, organize, and retrieve stock and other needed materials.
• Build flower boxes in anticipation of future orders.
• Utilize power equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety procedures.
• Support other tasks as assigned and supervise temporary labor during peak weeks.
• Be able to work extended hours during peak holidays including nights and weekends.

The warehouse associate will be responsible for performing a variety of daily tasks including but not limited to receiving/processing incoming freight, picking/fulfilling orders, and packing/shipping orders.

• Other various tasks as assigned
• Temporary labor supervision responsibility during peak holiday weeks
• Ability to work extended hours during peak holidays to include nights and weekends
