Job summary

CAF, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our on-site team. You will handle order prep, packing, labeling, and palletizing for both parcel and freight shipments, and support inventory with attention to quality and safety.

Forklift duties may be required after training, with a Monday–Friday schedule. This role emphasizes accurate order fulfillment, strong organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse.

Warehouse Associate

Memphis, TN | On-site | Full-time | Hourly | Monday–Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

$17.50–$19 per hour, depending on experience (D.O.E.) | Paid biweekly | Benefits eligible

What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll help keep our daily warehouse operations running smoothly and ensure customers receive accurate, quality orders on time. Your work will include:

• Picking, packing, labeling, and preparing customer orders for parcel and freight shipments.
• Building, wrapping, and preparing pallets for shipment.

This is a primarily hands‑on warehouse position with occasional computer and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory. You’ll need to stay organized, adapt to changing priorities, and be willing to jump in wherever help is needed while keeping accuracy, teamwork, and safety at the forefront.

This position offers opportunities for growth as CAF continues to expand. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, is willing to learn, and wants to grow with our team. As you develop your skills, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities in inventory management, shipping, receiving, and other warehouse operations.

What It Takes to Succeed

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn warehouse systems and equipment.
• Ability to safely perform warehouse tasks, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 60 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and solve problems.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Successful completion of applicable pre‑employment drug and background screenings.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, production, or inventory experience.
• Forklift operating experience or certification.

Forklift certification is not required to apply. CAF will provide forklift training if needed!

Reports To

This position reports to CAF’s Tennessee Warehouse Manager, Tara Bland.

Fair Pay

CAF uses market data from PayScale to help benchmark compensation for each position and location. Starting pay for this role is $17.50–$19 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
