Job summary

Comcentric, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a 6-12+ month contract in Woodland Hills, CA. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7AM–5PM, with a pay rate of $25-28/hour W2.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, unloading shipments, inspecting and documenting receipts, performing quality checks, and packaging and staging items per SOPs. Candidates should meet the listed experience and lifting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, PITs and EPJs.
• Receive shipments and unload deliveries.
• Inspect shipments against SOPs and ensure quality.
• Perform quality checks and document receipts or work orders.
• Package, wrap, and store parts as required by workflow.
• Sort and stage packages to prevent loss within the workflow.

Job description

We are seeking an Warehouse Associate for a 6-12+ month contract in Woodland Hills, CA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7AM - 5PM

Pay Rate: $25-28/hour W2

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Zip 91367)

The Main Responsibilities

• Employee must possess fundamental knowledge and skills in operating heavy equipment, primarily PIT equipment/forklifts, electronic pallet jacks (EPJs), forklifts, reach-trucks and turret-trucks.
• Receive shipments, employee must be able to unload shipments delivered by carriers.
• Inspecting shipments, employee must be able to visually examine packages arriving at the Fulfillment Center and determine if it is acceptable according to a standard operating procedure.
• Quality control checks, employee must review requirements for each part number and process accordingly to the standard operating procedure.
• Documenting receipts, employee must be able to use tools and equipment to systematically upload, store, and follow standard operating procedures to completely close out a receipt or work order.
• Packaging, employee must be able to identify what type of packaging is needed for parts, must be able to properly wrap/store parts with packaging at any stage of the Fulfillment/Manufacturing workflow.
• Sorting and staging, employee must be able to move packages/boxes/crates/any storage container while its identified and secure to prevent loss within the workflow.

What We Look for in a Candidate

• 2+ years of Fulfillment Center Operations experience, including an industry with receiving and inventory functions.
• Employee must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Communication skills within a highly technical environment.
• Mathematical skills. Analytical skills to define problems, collect appropriate and relevant data, establish facts, and draw reasonable conclusions from gathered information.
• Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material.
• Must be able to operate forklifts

Desired
