Job summary

SHIVELY DIVERSIFIED MANAGEMENT SERVICES, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storage, and shipping operations. You will ensure accurate cycle counts, maintain inventory records, and assist purchasing and customer service as needed.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to operate forklift equipment safely, and proficiency with Excel/Word and warehouse software. Reliable, self-motivated individuals who work well with others will thrive in our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 1-3 years of warehousing, shipping, or receiving experience.
• Understanding inventory management is desirable.
• Able to work with little supervision to complete tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and verify quantities against shipping documents.
• Accurately record shipment information in the company system.
• Report shipment discrepancies and issues to the Customer Service Manager.
• Fill orders using shelf inventory and safely package materials for shipping.
• Utilize third-party logistics software to generate shipments.
• Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and hand carts to move materials.
• Store materials in the correct warehouse locations.
• Perform inventory counts and record discrepancies.
• Work with internal departments to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. In this role, you will ensure a safe working environment, manage outgoing and incoming shipments, and maintain accurate cycle counts and material handling.
