Job summary

Our Springfield, MO facility is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, stock, and ship products while maintaining accurate inventory records.

The role is full-time with standard hours (Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). It includes health, dental, and vision plans, a SIMPLE IRA, and paid vacations/holidays, with emphasis on safety and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.
  • Kanban and MRP experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, scan, store, and record stock into inventory.
  • Pick materials according to the picking sheet using FIFO.
  • Pack finished products and palletize per distribution requests.
  • Document and process final shipments in the system.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain safe warehouse environment and adhere to safety rules.

The Warehouse Associate receives, scans, processes, stores, and records stock products into inventory for the organization. This role is responsible for inventory control and further supports the organization by providing management with accurate inventory information as requested. The Warehouse Associate selects products according to the picking sheet, prepares products for shipping, and transports products to the shipping dock.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse role is preferred.
  • Previous experience operating an electric forklift or pallet jack is preferred.
  • Previous experience utilizing Kanban and an MRP system is beneficial.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Stock materials in the proper storing location and update inventory count in the appropriate software.
  • Pull materials from stock as required per the material picking sheet using FIFO first-in-first-out).
  • Manage all materials to optimize space utilization and good organization.
  • Transport defective and damaged materials to the designated location for processing and request replacement from the vendor.
  • Report missing inventory to management immediately.
  • Pack finished product and palletize according to distribution requests.
  • Document and process final product shipments in the appropriate software.
  • Perform weekly and monthly cycle counts to ensure sufficient inventory levels.
  • Monitor processes for inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve warehouse efficiency and overall operating results.
  • Address warehouse issues, elevate and/or refer concerns to peers or management as appropriate.
  • Uphold established standards to ensure equitable treatment of all warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure a safe environment by identifying and rectifying hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics, and maintaining equipment in proper working order.
  • Follow established warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment and adhere to safety regulations and more!
