This is a casual (temp) position - long-term assignment.

Pay is $18.13 per hour.

M/F day shift - 40 hours on average per week.

The Record Center Specialist serves customers by maintaining and processing physical assets stored in our warehouse. Responsibilities include processing incoming and outgoing orders, loading/moving boxed items and wheeled bins, handling destructions, internal moves, permanent withdrawals, and special projects. Collaboration with team members is essential for success.

Responsibilities:
  1. This position requires heavy lifting, up to 100 pounds, in a warehouse environment. It is a physically demanding role working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, with frequent lifting of boxes up to 70 pounds.
  2. Process incoming orders by scanning carton barcodes and locations using the Safekeeper system.
  3. Investigate and resolve any order discrepancies for incoming or outgoing orders; manifest all orders, bundle, and prepare for shipment.
  4. Accurately prepare all necessary paperwork.
  5. Communicate any difficult order issues to the manager.
  6. Inspect and maintain all equipment, including Telxon scanners, wedges, Safekeeper terminals, and ladders.
  7. Collaborate with team members.
  8. Observe safety procedures and report any safety issues.
  9. Perform all physical requirements independently.
  10. Travel between facilities when necessary.
  11. Mentor others as opportunities arise.
